Should Recreational Marijuana be legalized?If you believe that Recreational Marijuana should be legalized for patients that actually need it to help them with what diseases they have. This debate has been going on for a long time now the drug control began back in 1909 when the International Opium Commission had a meeting on this in China. The Suppression of the Trafficking  in Dangerous Drugs was the first international referendum to call for the punishment of drug use. Then a backlash has formed a group against the criminalization of recreational drugs over the years not only has Canada and some U.S. states legalized the medical use of marijuana, but also former presidents of Colombia and Brazil, and Mexican president have all called for some form of legalization, citing a “failed” drug war. Portugal, the only Western country to legalize all drug possession in 2001 has reported no sharp increase in usage among younger teens and has instead reported a sharp decrease in the drug-related deaths in that area. People see this Recreational drug legalization as criminalization of recreational drugs and  as a waste of law enforcement resources. Opponents of legalization see recreational drugs as a gateway drug to crime and social disasters but its not it actually helps people that need it, like cancer, epilepsy, or parkinson’s patients. Marijuana is now popular and more accessible in the United States than all the other street drugs. In national surveys, 48% of Americans say they have tried it at least once before graduating high school or college, and 6.5% of high school seniors admit to it being daily use for them. So it was not too surprising when the two states, Washington and Colorado, became the first to legalize recreational marijuana in the November 2012 general election, but only in limited quantity, for anyone over the age of 21. The success with medical marijuana has affected the U.S. to pave the road to wider legalization of Recreational Marijuana. Eighteen other states and Columbia permit possession and consumption of Recreational drugs for medical purposes only. Medical doctors in those jurisdictions may prescribe Recreational Marijuana to treat or manage their dresses ranging from glaucoma, it is a eye disease in which the optic nerve is damaged and causes minor pain in the eye similar to menstrual cramps. Cancer patients sometimes smoke Recreational Marijuana to relieve the pain and nausea brought on by their chemotherapy, and some people with the inflammatory disease multiple sclerosis rely on Recreational Marijuana to ease muscle stiffness or cramps. Doctors of that jurisdiction did a study on their patients and they reported about them using Recreational Marijuana as treatment for a variety of Diseases like HIV AIDS-related problems, like chronic pain, depression, anxiety, menstrual cramps, migraine. It also helps narcotic addiction as well as everyday pains, being stressed out and helps sleeping difficulties. A majority also used Recreational Marijuana for recreational purposes, and many of the patients were long term Marijuana users. Endocannabinoids act on a group of cell-surface molecules called cannabinoid receptors that help to regulate appetite for patients that have stomach problems or really bad acid reactions and, mood and memory .
